BREAKING NEWS: Kylian Mbappe has been left out of PSG squad for pre-season tour

Kylian Mbappe is one step closer to joining Real Madrid. According to Fabrizio Romano, the French superstar will not travel with PSG to the pre-season tour in Japan after the Parc des Princes club decided tonight.
After days of speculation over whether the former Monaco player would travel with the club for the rest of the pre-season friendlies, it seems PSG's board have made a decision. The French club are unwilling to allow Mbappe to remain with the squad until he decides to renew or therefore leave the club this summer and therefore leave money in the club's coffers.
This is why the France international is closer than ever to joining 'Los Blancos', as a few weeks ago the Bondy native made it clear in a letter to Luis Enrique's side that he was not going to activate the clause in his contract to renew for another year until 2025. This would mean that the 2018 World Cup winner would leave as a free agent in 2024, something Al-Khelaifi was clear that he could not allow.
In light of this situation, Kylian Mbappe may have scored and played his last game for PSG against French side Le Havre just a few hours ago. Real Madrid, meanwhile, are waiting for the Ligue 1 champions and their superstar to reach an agreement before trying to seal a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.
