Manchester City face Brentford next Tuesday in a Premier League match that was postponed from last December.
Phil Foden scored a hat-trick the last time he played against the 'Bees' on 5 February in the Sky Blues' 3-1 win at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank spoke to the media ahead of the game against the Etihad Stadium side and was quick to praise Guardiola's England star.
"Phil Foden is a very good player. For me, he's the closest England get to a Ballon d'Or winner in the future. I think he has that potential, that level," said Thomas Frank.
"He influences the game in so many ways. The last game he got on the end of three situations and scored three goals. He is very at good dribbling, very good at sliding people in. He works very hard. He seems to have a good mentality in terms of working hard. He is very good."
What is certain is that England have a bright future ahead of them in terms of players as Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka and Jude Bellingham are destined to lead the next generation of English talent.
