Brentford, Dortmund, Roma and Milan turned down Greenwood

Mason Greenwood was one of the big names on the last day of the summer transfer window. Manchester United loaned their player to Getafe, but not before seeing other clubs turn the player down.
'The Athletic' reported that there were more than a dozen agents calling clubs in Europe to offer Greenwood, who finally ended up in Spain's La Liga.
Those clubs are Brentford, in England, or top-level clubs such as Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund, Milan and Roma. All of them said "no" to Manchester United.
Getafe finally signed a player who was accused at the time of assaulting his partner and who was not found guilty because the charges were dropped before the conclusion of the trial.
Fortune was on Getafe, as the source explains that Manchester United and Lazio had exchanged documents for his departure, but that they did not arrive in time before the transfer window closed in Italy.
The English striker could be sent back to Manchester United in the winter, according to a signed clause. The player's contract expires with the Red Devils in 2025.
