Osasuna's Ante Budimir could return to action on Tuesday against Mallorca after 29 days out injured, Osasuna coach Jagoba Arrasate confirmed at Monday's pre-match press conference ahead of the La Liga clash.
The Croatian player was injured on 15th April against Valencia. A collision with Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili resulted in three broken ribs.
"It depends on the context of the game, he can help us. It's going little by little, it's a complicated injury. He has a good feeling," commented Jagoba Arrasate about his star player, who has scored 16 goals.
Last Thursday, Budimir completed the training session with the rest of his teammates. His commitment to the club is evident in the extra hours he puts in after training.
"The good thing is that he has done very good individual work, which is no doubt about it. Then it's not the same when he has a rival or an opposition in front of him, the feelings were good and he still lacks a little bit, but he's not in pain. We put him in for the context of the match," said Arrasate.
