It seems Liverpool have been keeping tabs on the Bundesliga this season, as reports from Germany claim the Reds are preparing a move for two stars from the German league. According 'Sky Sport Germany' transfer news expert Florian Plettenberg, Omar Marmoush and Karim Adeyemi are on Liverpool's radar.
Their stand out perfomances throughout this season have served to catch Liverpool's attention. Marmoush is the current top goalscorer in the league with 8 goals in 6 matches for Eintracht Frankfurt, meanwhile Dortmund's Adeyemi counts 8 G/A from 8 appearances across all competition.
Plettenberg reports that despite interest from Anfied, the Egyptian is expected to finish the season with the German side as a January move is rather unlikely. At the moment, Frankfurt are in talks with the player to renew until 2028, although the 25-year-old is reluctant to accept the offer from the club.
On the other hand, Liverpool consider Adeyemi as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, who is tipped to leave Anfield in the summer. That said, the 22-year-old's frequent injuries are said to be a cause of concerns for the top clubs interested in him alongisde the Reds.
Both players' contracts expire in 2027, which means Arne Slot's side will have to splash a significant amount of money should they decide to pursue negotiations. Any offer from the English club will reportedly come closer to the summer as Liverpool are happy to keep monitoring the two forwards for now.
