After announcing his departure from Barcelona, Busquets is reportedly ready to pack his bags to move to the MLS, and join his former teammate Leo Messi.
'RAC1' reports that the Spanish midfielder is close to signing with Inter Miami, where the Argentinian is waiting for him. The outlet claims the news could be announced as soon as next week.
Busquets has made it clear on more than one occasion that he likes the idea of playing in the MLS, a league where he would face new challenges in new jersey.
The reunion between the two Barcelona stars is very much on the table it seems, but there could be another. It is also rumoured that a third Barcelona legend could join them: Jordi Alba.
The defender also bid farewell to Barca this season and is also entertaining an offer from the MLS. Alba does have other potential moves though, including offers from Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Saudi teams.
Journalist Toni Juanmarti also confirmed the 'RAC1' story and added several details about Busquets' move to Miami - he will sign until 2025 and will be a franchise player.
