"Camavinga is key for us"
As Real Madrid are to go up against Manchester City to try and get to the Champions League final, Modric was full of praise for teammate Eduardo Camavinga. He admitted to being very impressed by the Frenchman.

In 2021, Eduardo Camavinga made the leap from Stade Rennais to Real Madrid at just 18 years of age. Two years have gone past and the Frenchman has slowly but surely found his feet, becoming one of the 'Merengues' main men.
After being tried out at left-back, which he has said himself he does not like, he has left no one in Spain or his team doubting him.
Ahead of the match against Manchester City this evening for a place in the Champions League final, Luka Modric spoke to the world's press. He used the opportunity to speak about the young player's journey and, despite his importance on the pitch, he made sure to say that he still has some progress to make.
"I think he's great. He's going to train today. Since he arrived, he's grown a lot. And this season, he has shown that he can also play at left-back just as well. He may not like the position as much, but he's a guy who, wherever you put him, he does well. That's what he does. He's vital for us in footballing terms as well as his personality on the pitch. I'm happy for him... He can still grow", the Croatian midfielder explained.
This evening Los Blancos will need a water-tight defence to go up against Erling Haaland's Manchester City. And even is we still are yet to find out who will be starting the game, it's expected that Camavinga will feature.
