Eduardo Camavinga set alarm bells ringing at Real Madrid when he had an injury scare in a training session with the French national team. The Madrid midfielder suffered an apparent knee problem and underwent initial tests, after which it was decided that the 21-year-old should return to Madrid.
The Les Bleus international is due to have an MRI scan at Madrid's Valdebebas training ground to determine exactly what the extent of the injury is, according to 'The Athletic'.
If the French midfielder's injury is confirmed it would be a blow to Carlo Ancelotti, who has established Camavinga as the Merengues' first-choice defensive midfielder since Aurelien Tchouameni is sidelined until 2024.
The former Stade Rennais player, who recently renewed with 'Los Blancos' until 2029, has made 19 official appearances in all competitions for his club so far this season.
