Real Madrid are still searching for their No.9. Kylian Mbappe is being rumoured to join 'Los Blancos' as a free agent at the end of the season but the French star's constant doubts are baffling the La Liga outfit.
As a result, Carlo Ancelotti's side could be considering other options to strengthen their attack next campaign. Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is another main contender to try his luck in Spain. However, his transfer would not be so easy to negotiate.
Italy legend Fabio Capello has urged Madrid in an interview for 'Marca' to move for the Norwegian forward despite his difficult conditions to secure his services.
"Mbappe is not a centre forward, he likes to play more on the wing. Madrid already has Vinicius, but Mbappe is Mbappe! If Madrid is going to sign, they have to ask themselves if they have a centre forward now.
"And they don't have one. They need that more. But if you are going to look at technical quality, who is the better footballer, Mbappe is above Haaland," he added.
Moreover, the 77-year-old believes the Manchester City star could be a better fit for the current Madrid squad as his former Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund teammate Jude Bellingham would make it easier for him to get on with his teammates.
