Spain and Brazil organised an anti-racism friendly to be played on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu, where some Real Madrid team-mates will meet and be opponents for the first time this season.
The 'Merengues' full-back Dani Carvajal will have to defend his teammates Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr, who recently burst into tears at the press conference ahead of the friendly claiming that all he wants is to "play football" and that "black people don't suffer from racism".
The Spanish defender also spoke ahead of the match between 'La Roja' and the 'Selecao' claiming that Spain is not a racist country and was also asked about the fact that he will face his Brazilian teammates, who will not make things easy for him when it comes to defending.
"I will try to use all possible weapons to stop Vinicius, Rodrygo or Endrick. Vinicius? It is very difficult to stop a player of such quality. We will need help," he said.
In addition, the Spanish international also joked about their possible clash on the right flank. "I told Vinicius that if he succeeds in dribbling past me twice, I won’t allow him to enter the dressing room (laughs)."
