Levi Colwill has been one of Chelsea's surprise packages this season. The 21-year-old centre-back, despite his young age, has been one of the leading lights in the Blues' defence, making 32 appearances, 27 of them starts in which he scored a goal and provided an assist.
The England centre-back's impressive performance in his debut season with the Stamford Bridge outfit has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs, who would be willing to shell out big money for one of the Premier League's top prospects.
However, selling one of their most promising players is not something that crosses the mind of the Chelsea board, or so reports journalist Fabrizio Romano, who notes that the club's position has not changed from last summer.
Colwill is considered by the Blues board to be an important part of the club's project and a key player for the club's future.
