Chelsea have reached an agreement with Serie A giants, AC Milan, for forward Christian Pulisic. The American will move for €20 million plus €2 million in add-ons, with a sell-on clause included in the deal.
This was not Milan's first bid for Pulisic, having had a €14 million bid rejected already for the USMNT captain. The Italians beat out Ligue 1 side Lyon for the American international, as although the French side offered the Blues a better deal, Pulisic only had eyes for Milan.
He joins former Chelsea teammates Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Olivier Giroud in Milan, as he looks for regular minutes ahead of the 2024 Copa America and 2026 World Cup, co-hosted by his home country.
Despite being part of Chelsea's Champions League-winning team in 2021, he made just eight Premier League starts for the Blues last season. He has had more success on an international level, with 60 caps and 25 goals for the USA.
