Chelsea have found the solution to their problems. Or rather, to their whims. The London club have reportedly decided to abort the operation for Leeds' Tyler Adams to put all their eggs in the basket for Moises Caicedo.
'Sky Sports' reported on Friday that the Blues have decided not to pay the American international's £20-million buy-out clause at Leeds United - despite a verbal agreement apparently being reached between the two parties.
This means Chelsea will bet everything on Brighton's Ecuadorian. And even more so considering the 21-year-old's "no" to Liverpool. The 'La Tri' midfielder has shown loyalty to the personal terms agreed in May with Stamford Bridge.
Mauricio Pochettino will have a luxury reinforcement for his midfield, joined by the likes of Enzo Fernandez and Conor Gallagher. He will not compete in Europe, but he will be part of the new Blue era.
