Thiago Silva took advantage of his time off from injury to take a dig at a fellow professional. The Brazilian, runner-up with Brazil at the Copa America, commented in an Instagram post about the position Julian Alvarez ended up in.
"Voted seventh best player in the world and is a substitute at City, not a starter for Argentina and was at River Plate for most of his adaptation time," posted an Instagram account to which the Chelsea player took the opportunity to respond.
The central defender was quick to respond to the post: "That's a joke," said the former Paris Saint-Germain player.
Thiago Silva voted in The Best: Neymar, first, Leo Messi, in second place, and in last place Karim Benzema.
