Chelsea take first win at home against minnows Luton
Chelsea managed to snag their first win of the season against newly promoted Luton Town as Stamford Bridge on Friday. A brace from Raheem Sterling was sealed with a third from Nico Jackson to secure victory for the Blues, and giving manager Mauricio Pochettino a bit more breathing room.

A wet and grey evening in Stamford Bridge saw Chelsea get their first win of 2023-24 as they beat Luton Town thanks to goals by Raheem Sterling
The former Manchester City striker weaved his way through Luton defenders and showed his cool class as he buried in the bottom corner.
The Hatters were unable to get a shot on target in the opening half but came out after the break searching for a goal and looked like they were still very much in the game - until Sterling got his second.
The striker turned provider for Nico Jackson to get the third and leave Luton still without a Premier League point.
