Chelsea would be willing to let the Armando Broja leave if a 'suitable offer' comes in. According to The Athletic, several Premier League clubs are interested in the striker, including Fulham, West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Any new additions to the Stamford Bridge squad in the January transfer window or next summer would be independent of Broja's situation. The 22-year-old scored nine goals while on loan at Southampton and this season has scored two goals and provided one assist for the Blues, scoring his latest goal in the FA Cup against Preston North End.
Pochettino spoke about Broja in the post-match press conference and was pleased with his goal as he feels his ACL injury has been a setback in his career. “It was really important for him. The potential is amazing. We’re talking about one of the young strikers in England and in Europe with the most potential. But the problem now is he needs to push himself, and we’re going to try to help him to realise that never it is enough," said Pochettino.
“He was nearly one year away (injured) and of course now he needs time. It’s not easy for him to perform and to be at the level we expect. Our expectation is massive and we really believe in him. We’re going to push him to improve every day," added the Blues boss.
