Nicolas Jackson expressed his satisfaction with his performance following Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League. Jackson, who played a crucial role in the game, combined effectively with Enzo Fernandez to secure both goals for the Blues.
"It was a good performance, we’re just happy to get the three points. It’s just the beginning, the season has only just started. The target is to win every game, try to fight for the team, score and get three points in every game," Jackson said.
"For my goal, I saw the defender had anticipated my move so I needed to be quick and I know the goalkeeper is good so that’s why I tried to finish as soon as possible. I’m happy here – I’m happy with my friends and my teammates. I’m trying to help the team each game."
Chelsea's victory over Leicester had a positive impact on their position in the Premier League table. With the win, the Stamford Bridge side moved up to third place in the table, consolidating their position in the Champions League qualification zone.
