Lukaku has confirmed his new destination. The Chelsea striker, who was being pushed by the Blues to find a new club before the close of the transfer window as he was not in the team's plans, has confirmed he will join Roma.
The Belgian striker in an interview with 'Het Laatste Nieuws' said he was nervous about flying to Rome to sign his contract with the Giallorossi. The former Inter player will reportedly sign a season-long loan deal with the Italian side.
"Im nervous. Tomorrow, I’m flying to Rome for signing", said the Chelsea man. Lukaku thus returns to Serie A, the competition in which he had his best performances when he played for Inter before joining Chelsea.
The 'Nerazzurri' tried to reach an agreement with the striker this summer but he turned them down and was even rumoured with a possible move to Juventus. Finally, it seems that Lukaku will be a new Roma player and will be under the orders of Jose Mourinho.
