The Blues are hosting AFC Wimbledon for the Carabao Cup second round match at Stamford Bridge in London. The two sides have only met in one friendly in 2014, in which Chelsea won 3-2.
Nonetheless, the visitors had the upper hand in the first half as James Tilley scored the opener from the penalty spot following a foul by Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez on Harry Pell.
The English striker made no mistake and opened the scoring in the 19th minute to put his team into a dominant position. However, Noni Madueke managed to restart the game in stoppage time before half-time.
The Stamford Bridge outfit earned a spot-kick following a foul by Alexander Pearce on the 21-year-old. Madueke, who joined Chelsea in the January transfer window, scored the equaliser from the penalty spot, just as the first goal of the match was netted.
