Reece James is on Real Madrid's list. The Chelsea player is not going through his best season due to injuries, but no one at Stamford Bridge doubts his quality.
'AS' reported on Wednesday that the Spanish side are keeping an eye on the left footed Englishman's situation who was trained in the Blues' academy. The main thing getting in the way of a move could be his current contract.
Reece James renewed at Chelsea with a long deal, keeping him there until June 2028. However, the Madrid side are expecting the Londoners to have to get some income in to balance their books.
What Real Madrid want with this deal, if it comes through, is to increase the competition for the right-back spot for Carlo Ancelotti beyond just Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez.
His injuries are have been what's weighed Reece James down since the start of the season. His most recent one was a hamstring injury which forced him to go home early from the England camp.
