Chelsea legend Claude Makelele has stepped down as 'technical mentor' to the first team, according to the Daily Mail.
The former Blues player, now 50, has left the London club after reaching an agreement with the board of the English club.
The former midfielder took on the role of technical mentor in August 2019 after his former team-mate Frank Lampard was appointed manager for the first time at Stamford Bridge.
The former 'Les Bleus' international spent five years with the Stamford Birdge outfit, making 221 official appearances, 201 starts, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
