Despite all the goals, assists and chances in the wild draw between Chelsea and Manchester City, it was Cole Palmer who went viral on social media after the game.
The former Manchester City midfielder not only made headlines for his last-minute penalty equaliser, but for his cheeky move minutes later.
As the Sky Blues players gathered to mastermind a last-ditch attack in stoppage time, Palmer pretended he was still part of Pep Guardiola's squad and tried to eavesdrop on his former team-mates.
None of the Cityzens noticed except for Erling Haaland, who playfully gave him a shove, to the amazed gaze of his team-mates.
The 21-year-old gave a press conference ahead of the Three Lions' Euro 2024 qualifiers and was asked about what happened. "I didn’t hear anything, I was just having a laugh to be honest. I think Erling found it pretty funny, I don’t think the others did," said the former Man City midfielder.
