Cole Palmer, Rico Lewis earned first senior call-ups to England squad

Gareth Southgate announced England's squad for their upcoming EURO 2024 qualifiers against Malta and Northern Monaco a few days ago.
However, injuries to James Maddison, Callum Wilson and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham have prompted the England manager to make changes to his squad ahead of the international break.
Both Manchester City full-back Rico Lewis and Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer, both of whom are coming on well so far this season for their clubs, have received their first call-ups to the Three Lions senior squad.
England have already secured a place in next year's competition in Germany, leading Group C with 16 points and a game in hand, three clear of second-placed Ukraine.
