'Real Madrid TV' has been producing videos all season critical of referees who have made decisions prejudicial to the interests of Carlo Ancelotti's side. Ahead of the La Liga clash against Sevilla, one was published pointing the finger at Isidro Diaz de Mera Escuderos and Pablo Gonzalez Fuertes, the main match officials for 'Los Blancos' clash against the Andalusian side, so the Sevilla players spoke out to denounce 'Los Blancos' official TV channel.
A few days after their official statement, the newspaper 'Marca' and the radio station 'COPE' indicate that the Competition Committee of the RFEF has dismissed the complaint, as it has not found anything punishable among what the Andalusian club has complained about. This does not mean that the RFEF agrees with the Madrid board, which, according to statements made by Luis Medina Cantalejo, the head of the referees, have not sat well with the body.
"Sevilla FC wants to formally denounce the present facts before the federation's governing bodies in order to assess whether these facts can be considered as an infringement of the RFEF's General Regulations or any other applicable regulations," read the text issued by the Andalusian club, which found support from the La Liga president Javier Tebas, who is involved in a heated confrontation with Madrid chief Florentino Perez practically every time he makes a statement.
Precisely the radio channel mentioned in the second paragraph of this article has revealed this week that part of the Real Madrid dressing room does not approve of Real Madrid TV's criticism of the refereeing staff. On the front page of the newspaper, also mentioned in this news item, it is stated that the board of directors intend to continue with the same dynamic this season.
