Juventus player Francisco Conceicao, son of coach Sergio Conceicao, hopes to ‘succeed’ in Turin. Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom he has coincided in the Portuguese national team, has been there, although he assured that he has not spoken to him about his arrival at Juventus. "He's a reference, I'll talk to him later," he said.

Portugal's Francisco Conceicao, a Juventus player on loan from Porto, declared on Thursday at his presentation as a new ‘Bianconero’ forward that his reference player is his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I haven't yet spoken to Ronaldo about my arrival in Turin, I will speak to him about it in future. It is true that there are coincidences between our trajectories, for me he is a reference point as for all Portuguese players, and many others."
Conceicao, who was at Ajax in 2022-23, is at Juve on loan from Porto, although both parties aim to extend his contract. "I don't think about being on loan: I thank Porto for what they did for me and Juventus for believing in me. I'm here to succeed and I hope to continue as long as possible in this jersey: I want to make a difference and I'm solely focused on that," he added.
The left-footed winger, who already had minutes against Roma in Serie A, spoke about his new coach, the Italian-Brazilian Thiago Motta."Thiago Motta didn't ask me anything in particular: he asked me to showcase my football, show my qualities on the pitch and give the team a hand. Since I didn't train with the group, I'm not at my optimum level, but I'm sure I will reach it in the future."
Conceicao also explained how he copes with the constant comparisons with his father, Sergio Conceicao, the former Porto coach. "Being my father's son often brings comparisons, but I don't listen to them: I am proud of what he did as a player and coach, but I want to make my own path without thinking about what is said."
