Juan Cuadrado's future looks unlikely to be in the Saudi Arabian league. The 35-year-old failed to reach an agreement with Juventus to renew his contract, which was due to expire at the end of last season, and is now a free agent.
There has been much speculation about the Colombian's next destination, but one thing is certain: it will not be a team in Saudi Arabia.
The right-back denied a possible move to Gulf State in an interview with 'AS', as he believes his former Juventus team-mate of three years, Cristiano Ronaldo, does not want him there: "At this moment, I still have the passion and I like to compete. Besides, Ronaldo is down there and he doesn't want me!"
"I am very relaxed, thinking of what is best, asking God for help with these decisions. My agent Andrey Martinez was in Europe and has just arrived to talk to me about various situations. Obviously, there are options and we'll analyse which is the best," concluded the Colombian player.
