The last matches of the Premier League 2023/24 are being played at the moment with many goals and hopes at stake. While Arsenal and Manchester City are battling for this term's title, some teams are fighting for the European places and others not to be relegated in turn.
Diogo Dalot broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute to bring the Red Devils within three points against Brighton & Hove Albion as the first half ended in a goalless draw. The Portuguese received a long cross from Casemiro and evaded the Seagulls defence to score the opener at the AMEX Stadium.
Manchester United's chances of finishing sixth are the same as Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Newcastle but their goal difference will not allow them to finish the season in that position. They would only be eligible to play in Europe next season if they finished sixth and beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
