Dani Olmo's great European Championship with the Spanish national team has helped him to increase his value, but not to become Bayern Munich's first choice. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the German team maintain Xavi Simons as their top priority.

Dani Olmo started the European Championship as a substitute and ended it as a key player and top scorer for Spain and the European Championship alongside Kane, Musiala, Mikautadze, Schranz and Gakpo. But it seems that all those merits are not enough for Bayern Munich to make him their priority for the transfer window.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Germans still have him on their agenda for some time now, but always as a plan B. Above him, they have a teammate with whom he shared a dressing room last season. Xavi Simons, who played on loan at RB Leipzig, is his top priority to reinforce the playmaker position.
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl knows him well after working with the Spaniard's current club between 2022 and 2023. But Bayern are not the only ones who have been linked with Dani Olmo's future.
Barcelona and several Premier League clubs are interested in signing the midfielder, who has a 60 million euro buy-out clause.
