Daniele Orsato to referee Barcelona vs Porto

UEFA has already selected referees for some of the upcoming Champions League group stage matches. Italian referee Daniele Orsato will be in the middle in Barcelona's match against Porto.

Italy's Daniele Orsato will referee Barcelona v Porto in Group H at the Estadio Olimpico de Montjuïc, assisted on the sidelines by his compatriots Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini. Massimiliano Irrati will be in charge of the VAR, assisted by Paolo Valeri.
This will be Orsato's third time officiating a Barcelona clash in the Champions League. The two previous matches saw the Catalan side beat Celtic 2-0 on 23 November 2016 and the other, on 26 September 2021, they lost 3-0 to Benfica.
The 'Cules' find themselves top of Group H level with the Portuguese side on nine points, three ahead of third-placed Shakhtar Donetsk on six points.
Spaniards Alejandro Hernandez and Carlos del Cerro Grande will be in charge of the VAR and assistant for the match between Manchester City and RB Leipzig in Group G.
