The new winners of the Ballon d'Or will be announced on the 30th October 2023. They will take the mantle from current holders Karim Benzema and Alexa Putellas, at the ceremony held in Paris. The information was released on Friday by the organisers.
The nominees will be announced on September 6th across all the categories, including male and female nominees.
Although an official list will not be released for a few more months, there are already several predictions of lists, including Man City's Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr, PSG's Kylian Mbappe and of course seven-winner Lionel Messi.
As well as Ballon d'Or nominees, the 6th September will also see nominees announced for the Kopa Award (best young footballer) and the Yashin Award (best keeper).
The Socrates Award, which rewards players engaged in social action or with charities, will have its nominees unveiled on the 7th July.
