Alphonso Davies is in the spotlight due to his good performances both at the World Cup in Qatar with Canada and with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
As a result, several European clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid are interested in signing him for next season. In fact, according to 'Marca', the Spanish side have taken the first steps towards contact with Bayern Munich to try and secure the transfer this summer.
Both the defender and his inner circle want the German club to renew his contract, which expires in 2025. Davies' agent Nick Huoseh told reporters that several teams were targeting the 22-year-old to urge Tuchel's side.
"There is a lot of navigating to do. I have spoken to other clubs. They have texted and spoken to us, but we haven't had any in-depth conversations with anybody. He is with Bayern Munich. He has two years remaining on his contract. We don't know what will happen in a year from now," he said.
"He's happy at Bayern. He's won a number of titles at Bayern and they're a good club, one of the top clubs in the world. There are not many clubs he can move to when you think about it. There are a select few clubs that an athlete like Alphonso [Davies] can go to."
