Real Madrid seem to be keeping a close eye on the Alphonso Davies situation. The player declined a renewal offer from Bayern months ago and his contract expires in 2025. With his holiday now over, the defender has been put under Kompany's orders with his future still undecided.

Canadian player Alphonso Davies joined Bayern Munich's pre-season training camp on Wednesday amid rumours about his future with the Bavarian club.
After taking part in the Copa America with his national team and enjoying his holidays, the left-back wanted by Real Madrid, returned to work to undergo the relevant medical examinations along with England striker Harry Kane, also absent during the first weeks of preparation after playing the European Championship in his case.
In the case of the American, his return to training camp comes with several unknowns to be resolved with only one year left on his contract: according to German media and 'EFE', the Canadian full-back declined the renewal proposal made by the club a few months ago, which in turn also rejected the counter-offer presented by the Canadian.
Bayern sporting director Cristoph Freund revealed a few weeks ago that there had been "talks that have not yet led to an agreement" with the full-back, although he described the negotiations as "definitely not closed".
"The most important thing is that he is preparing very well, that he is starting very well with us and that he is finding his form very well. And then we'll see what the next few months bring. Alphonso has become a key player over the last few years and he has done very well. This is the last year of his contract, then we'll see how the talks go," he added.
Bayern, who have just returned from their tour of South Korea, have an open front with the left-back, who could run down his contract and sign as a free agent for any club in the summer of 2025. Until the Bundesliga kicks off, the team coached by Belgian Vincent Kompany, with the American in their ranks, still have two friendly matches to play before the official season opener.
The first of these games will take place again against Tottenham, their last opponents in Seoul, in London and the last, against Austrian side WSG Tyrol, before the official start of the season against Ulm in the German Cup and Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
