Dayro Moreno became the all-time Colombian top goalscorer after netting his 353rd goal to overcome Radamel Falcao's record. But it was no cheap task, with the striker paying around 100 euros each time someone assisted him.

Five minutes into Once Caldas' clash against America de Cali on Sunday, Dayro Moreno opened the scoring to equal Radamel Falcao as the all-time Colombian top goalscorer. And less than an hour later, Moreno became the only holder of the record as he scored another one in the same match.
The newly set record is one of the 39-year-old's numerous achievements throughout his professional career. Since returning to the 'Blanco Blanco' after his spells at Oriente Petrolero and Atletico Bucaramanga, Moreno scored 47 goals in 105 matches - something which was far from cheap for him.
Once Caldas defender Hugo Dorrego revealed that the veteran forward pays 500.000 Colombian pesos (around 102 euros) each time a teammate provides him with an assist. And having almost reached the half-century mark, it is safe to say a large sum of money has already left Moreno's pockets.
Moreno's charge to become the top goalscorer has also been aided by Falcao's injury. The Millonarios star suffered a blow to his right leg last month, and is not expected back until the end of April, giving Moreno the chance to extend his lead in the upcoming clash at Union Espanola on Thursday.
