Barcelona are still struggling with the amount of players who are out injured. With Ousmane Dembele and Andreas Christensen out, as well as Pedri in doubt, the fourth to complete the list is Frenkie de Jong.
Journalist Helena Condis claimed that the Dutch midfielder will miss El Clasico, as both sides battle it out for a place in the final of the Copa del Rey. The number 21 was absent from training on Tuesday.
Additionally, the Barca coach is planned to speak to the press at around 13:00 on Tuesday before Real Madrid head to the Camp Nou. Frenkie de Jong will be a topic of conversation, and who better to confirm or deny if he'll be out or not than his manager.
Barcelona are still waiting on Pedri. Even though Xavi admitted that he's not 100%, he doesn't know if he'll be called up for El Clasico. The ones who are definitely out are Ousmane Dembele and Andreas Christensen.
'AS' already reported that his absence was practically confirmed, although they didn't rule out that, given the circumstances, he could make it back in time.
