One of the most followed transfer sagas of the summer has come to an end. Many media outlets have been keeping an eye on whether Kylian Mbappe would leave PSG for Real Madrid, but many wondered if Harry Kane would finally leave Tottenham and join Bayern Munich this summer.
After a tug-of-war, it was reported on Thursday that Spurs had accepted Bayern Munich's latest offer for the England striker. However, the transfer could not go ahead without the player giving the green light, and according to the English press, Kane had yet to make a decision.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham's all-time top scorer made the decision to join the German club, leaving the Premier League and starting a new story in the Bundesliga.
Harry Kane thus leaves Tottenham after 12 seasons as an absolute legend. The 30-year-old striker has made 435 official appearances for the London club, 385 as a starter, scoring a whopping 280 goals and providing 60 assists.
