Like Madrid with Endrick, Chelsea have also agreed a deal for a promising South American player. Independiente del Valle's sporting director confirmed that Kendry Paez will play for the English club from 2025.

Independiente del Valle sporting director Santiago Morales gave an outlook on the future of Kendry Paez, a youngster who, at just 16 years of age, promises to be a great figure in Ecuadorian football. In that sense, the executive confirmed an agreement with Chelsea.
"We received some offers from Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United, but Chelsea were the team that showed the most interest. The officials and the doctor came to carry out some tests," said the sporting director of the Ecuadorian team, in dialogue with 'El Canal de Futbol'.
In the same vein, Morales confirmed that, as is the case with Endrick and Real Madrid, Paez will only be able to join the English club when he turns 18 and is of legal age.
In this way, he will remain at Independiente del Valle, one of the most important teams in Ecuador, until 2025, and will also have the chance to wear the shirt of the Ecuadorian national team, which he has already represented in youth divisions.
"Then there is the legal issue. Right now we can't sign a contract because of his age. The situation has become clearer, but I can say that Kendry, in two years' time, will go to Chelsea," said the sporting director.
