Del Bosque: "Messi is the best player in the world"

Former Spain coach Vicente del Bosque spoke to 'Radio Marca' and said that Leo Messi is the best player he has ever seen on a pitch. The manager praised the PSG player and talked about his qualities.
"He is the best player in the world because of his consistency and his quality. His performances are impressive. He has had some fantastic seasons and has always led his teams forward," he said.
He also spoke about the new Spain coach Luis de la Fuente: "He has a lot of football knowledge and good relations. Also, we have a good generation of players. We have to take the best players, whether they are old or young.
"Luis Enrique should not be judged because winning the World Cup with Spain is very difficult," Del Bosque added.
