The transfer market is still in full swing and the teams are fine-tuning their respective squads, but there are also players who are looking for a new destination after leaving their former clubs. This is the case of Dele Alli.
The Englishman finished his contract with Everton last June. But he has not played a game since 26th February 2023, which was with Besiktas, where he was on loan, in the Turkish League. The playmaker has endured a difficult period of personal problems, along with a groin strain and a number of other injuries.
His time with the 'Black Eagles' was not very satisfactory, as he only played in 15 matches and scored 3 goals. In fact, the Ottomans sent him to the stands because of his controversial character. As if that wasn't enough, he had to undergo surgery, thus bidding a final farewell to playing for the Turks.
Through his profile on X, the Briton has wanted to offer himself in this transfer window in the hope of joining a new team to enjoy football again. To do so, he has resorted to a phrase from the famous anime 'Naruto'.
"In the world, no one is perfect. Even if you keep pursuing perfection, you will never reach it. But along the way, you will become something great," he wrote, accompanied by a video showing him alongside the manga's protagonist.
