Dembele's renewal with Barca can wait

Barcelona announced Dembele's renewal last summer. His contract expired in June 2022 and the Spanish club extended his contract until 2024.
From then on, the footballer has been standing out at the Camp Nou. He has scored five goals and provided six assists in 20 competitive matches. For that reason, he is a key player for Xavi Hernandez.
The board plan to renew his contract and, according to 'Mundo Deportivo', they will extend it in January. Nevertheless, according to 'Sport', they will propose a new offer at the end of the season.
The idea of the club is to renew him for one more year, until 2025. The new contract can wait until the end of the season. Barca want Dembele to stay. From spring onwards, both parties will sit down to talk about his future.
