Denzel Dumfries set to sign Inter new deal until 2028

Inter have had a good start to the season that has seen them currently sit second in the Serie A standings and in the top 8 of the new Champions League format.
The form of players such as Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries has been key to the Nerazzurri's good run of form. It is precisely the Dutch full-back who made headlines on Thursday morning after reporting how close he is to renewing his contract with the Italian club.
Simone Inzaghi already confirmed around a month ago that Dumfries was set to sign a new contract until 2028 and recently Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Inter have all the documents ready to be signed next week by the defender if all goes according to plan.
The former PSV player joined Inter in 2021 and since that precise moment he has become a regular starter who has accumulated 143 appearances, including 95 starts in which he has scored 13 goals and provided 15 assists.
