"Do I believe in the comeback? 100%"

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is 100% confident his side can come from behind against Inter Milan in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie. In the first leg, Cholo Simeone's side lost narrowly to a goal from Arnautovic well into the second half, so now that they are playing at their home stadium, where they usually have a better rhythm, they must win by two goals.
"Inter are a great team, but we will go out to win because I believe we can win. I believe 100% in the comeback. There is always an obligation to win. You have to bear in mind that we've been on a bit of a bad run in the league and I think that a great consolation would be to win," said the red and white chief executive as he left the directors' lunch with the representatives of the Giuseppe Meazza outfit.
"The games come out at the moment, they are all very well prepared and then they come out the way they come out. But I really believe it will be a great night. The stadium will probably have the highest attendance since it opened. And we're only thinking about winning," he added.
"The fans know that they have a great team, that it's a great night, that we have to go through to the quarter-finals. And I'm convinced that the fans are with their team," said Cerezo, focusing on the importance of the fans' support. With the way the Civitas Metropolitano will be filled, the pressure will be maximum on Inter, who need only to maintain the same result on aggregate to book their place in the quarter-finals.
