Dobvyk reaches deal with Roma, moves away from Atletico

Artem Dovbyk is moving further and further away from Girona and Atletico Madrid. Although it seemed that the Ukrainian striker was going to be the replacement for Alvaro Morata, the player is starting to look to Italy, specifically to Roma.
According to 'Sky Sport', the Italian side have already reached an economic agreement with Girona's No.9 to sign him in the coming days. Roma will offer Girona around 32 million euros plus add-ons, close to the price that Atletico Madrid were willing to offer for the Ukrainian striker.
Now, the two clubs have to reach an agreement for the transfer of the player, who is on holiday after playing the last European Championship with his country.
It is a tough blow for Atletico, who were close to signing him. However, the demands of Dovbyk's agent put an end to the negotiations with the Spanish club.
