Doku close to joining Man City

Manchester City need to look to the future after losing Riyad Mahrez to Saudi side Al-Ahli. The English club were interested in Rennes right winger Jeremy Doku to replace the Algerian.
And, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Sky Blues have already reached a verbal agreement with the Ligue 1 side for his transfer. The treble winners will pay €60 million for his services and the 21-year-old will undergo medical tests this week.
Having played three seasons with Rennes, Doku still has two years remaining on his contract in France. The Belgian had also been on the radar of Aston Villa, before Unai Emery ultimately signed Bayer Leverkusen's Moussa Diaby.
The striker scored seven goals and provided four assists in his last campaign, and has impressed sufficiently, despite some injury concerns, that the champions of Europe are knocking on his door.
