The Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy, who joined Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund this summer, will remain injured until October and leaves the German team's attack short of players after the departure to West Ham of Niclas Fulllkrug and the also expected departure of Youssoufa Moukoko.
According to the newspaper 'Bild', the striker from Stuttgart is expected to miss at least "the first four games" of a Bundesliga that Nuri Sahim's team will start on August 24 against Eintracht.
Guirassy's injury, whose signing was put on hold for a few days after he was diagnosed with a knee injury during a medical before the official announcement, leaves the forward line of a team that played its penultimate pre-season match against Villarreal on Tuesday (2-2 draw after a game in a four-half-hour halves format) in a shaky state.
On Wednesday morning, the North Rhine-Westphalian club also announced that left-back Tom Rothe has left the club to join Union Berlin.
