Last Saturday Liverpool won 4-1 against Brentford but suffered a double injury blow as they lost Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota who both left the field injured.
This is a setback as Jurgen Klopp's side have a big game at Wembley against Chelsea in the EFL Cup final.
Diogo Jota had to be substituted after a collision with Brentford's Norgaard in which he suffered a knee injury and left the field on a stretcher and in tears.
Minutes after the Portuguese went off, Curtis Jones left the stadium on crutches and joins Trent Alexander-Arnold, who also misses the final. The Reds attacker's injury is still under assessment, although reports in Portugal suggest he could be out for up to two months.
Before the EFL Cup final, the Anfield side host Luton next Wednesday as they look to pick up another three points and stay in the race for the Premier League title.
For this game, Thiago Alcantara will also be absent while Dominik Szoboszlai is a doubt as he struggles to recover from a hamstring injury, as is goalkeeper Alisson.
