Douglas Luiz hints at Aston Villa, explains move to Juve
Douglas Luiz did not have a pretty ending at Aston Villa as the 26-year-old took a dig at the Birmingham club when he explained his move to Serie A side Juventus in an interview.

Luiz agreed a five-year contract with the Italian club as he became the latest player to leave Villa Park due to the Premier League club's financial fair-play cost-cutting. The 26-year-old spent five years with Villa and was a key player in their surprise fourth-place finish in the Premier League last season.
However, it seems that the two sides did not end too well. "Why did I leave the Premier League? Any player in the world would have wanted to have an experience at Juventus, I am no different," Luiz told 'Tuttosport'.
"It doesn’t depend so much on the championship, but rather on the size of the club. It’s a nice thing to be able to tell my family, once I retire, that I played for Juve. Juventus is a huge club and many great players have passed through this team. This convinced me to come here," he added.
