Artem Dovbyk is a new Roma player. On his first day, the Ukrainian striker spoke for the first time to the official media of the Italian team. A conversation in which he labelled Girona as a "small club".
The brand new signing 'Giallorossi' praised what is already his home and, in a balance, he credited the history of the Italian team: "Roma is a great team and Girona is a small club in comparison".
Despite not going against them, these statements did not go down well in Catalonia. The most expensive signing in their history leaves around 40 million euros in the coffers, but with a bitter end to the story.
Girona will play in the next edition of the Champions League, but Artem Dovbyk spoke of a "small club". The No 11 is already paying compliments to his new team, who will kick off Serie A away to Cagliari.
