Ederson urges Brazil to ‘get back to winning ways’

Ederson, who returns to the starting line-up in goal for the Brazilian national team to replace the injured Alisson, said on Wednesday that the Canarinha have to "turn the situation around" to overcome their bad moment and return to the top.
"We are aware of the (bad) moment we are living in the competition (the qualifiers). We have to turn the situation around and get back to winning ways," said the City goalkeeper at a press conference in Sao Paulo, where the 'Selecao' are training for the matches against Chile and Peru.
The goalkeeper said that Brazil, fifth in the qualifiers and far behind leaders Argentina, have to get back to "where they should be, which is at the top of the table".
"It is clear that when you talk about the Brazilian national team, you demand victories and quick answers, but the process takes time. We are aware of the lack of patience and the demands, and that's why we have to give an immediate response and start winning games to regain the confidence of the best football in the world and the fans," he concluded.
