Increasingly unused and under-performing with RB Leipzig, Swedish striker Emil Forsberg has agreed to leave Europe and join MLS side New York Red Bulls this winter, according to Fabrizio Romano.

According to the latest reports from German media outlet 'BILD', Leipzig striker Emil Forsberg is on the verge of leaving the Bundesliga for MLS.
Thanks to an agreement between the Red Bull teams, the Swede will sign for the New York Red Bulls in January during the winter mercato, leaving Europe in the middle of his tenth season with Leipzig.
The 2nd most capped player in the German club's history, winner of two German Cups and a national Supercup, has given his verbal agreement to sign in the United States for four years.
The striker has made 15 appearances for the German club this season, nine of them as a starter, scoring two goals and providing no assists.
