Emre Can replaces Pavlovic at EURO
The German Football Association confirmed that Emre Can has been called up for the European Championship because Aleksandar Pavlovic has tonsillitis.

Germany midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic will miss the European Championship due to tonsillitis and will be replaced by Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund's Emre Can, the German Football Association confirmed on Tuesday ahead of a press conference with Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz.
"We would like to wish Pavlovic a speedy recovery. Unfortunately, he will not be joining the team. The coaching staff have decided to make a last-minute appointment: Julian Nagelsmann has decided that Emre Can will be his replacement," said Franziska Wulle.
The 20-year-old Pavlovic, a promising Bayern Munich star, had been suffering from a throat infection for several days and Nagelsmann has finally decided to leave the player of Serbian descent out of the squad.
Emre Can, who has had a good season with Dortmund, has been chosen to replace a player who made his debut for Germany in a friendly against Ukraine just over a week ago.
